Mackenzie Martin, Financial Advisor
New clients come to Mackenzie for her expertise and knowledge. They stay because they love her enthusiasm, work ethic and practical, real-world approach.
"Financial planning doesn't have to be boring," Mackenzie says. "I try to make it fun, educational and painless." Prior to joining McCoy Foat Wealth Management, Mackenzie spent several years developing her career with North Star Resource Group. Although Mackenzie works with clients of all types, she's established a niche in the veterinary industry, combining her love of animals and the outdoors with her career.
"More than anything, clients want insight and benchmarks. They want to know how their experiences compare to those of others," Mackenzie says. "I enjoy helping my clients gain perspective about how their finances are performing."
Mackenzie is a northwest native. She grew up in the Seattle-area, graduated from Oregon State University and now resides in the Portland area. She looks forward to instilling a sense of energy and excitement into your financial planning experience.
Todd Caudle, Principal
When you meet Todd Caudle, one of the first things you'll notice is he gets to the point quickly with a working style that is high energy, focused and direct. It's a quality he developed while growing up in the logging industry in Prineville, Ore. He says, "My goal is to cut through the confusion, zero-in on the issues and rapidly progress to a solution."
In fact, Todd co-founded McCoy Foat Wealth Management Group for exactly those reasons. He identified an industry issue and knew he could build a better mousetrap. In his former position as a financial services manager overseeing Prudential's Medford, Salem and Lake Oswego offices, Todd noticed it was difficult for medical and dental professionals to receive the highly specialized advice and products they need from mainstream financial firms and generalist advisors. Todd helped build the company with the vision of bringing the medical/dental segment a better option — easy, industry-customized solutions backed by old-fashioned, boutique-style service and leading expertise.
It turns out that Todd's vision was spot-on. His practice has quickly grown and the word is out that McCoy Foat Wealth Management Group is the go-to financial firm for Oregon dentists, veterinarians and other small business professionals. "There's nothing more satisfying than introducing new clients to solutions they've never been shown before," Todd says.
Todd is a registered securities principal of Independent Financial Group, LLC, and an investment advisor representative offering services through Rx Investment Solutions, LLC, a registered investment advisor. When he's not working, Todd enjoys relaxing with friends and family, exploring the outdoors and sipping Oregon's famous pinot noirs.
Tamara Stover, Operations Manager
Money management was an obvious career choice for Tami Stover. As a child, she was always the Monopoly banker. Today, at McCoy Foat Wealth Management Group, Tami is still in charge — acting as the go-to person for all daily business operations, including investment research, trading, withdrawals and paperwork. She's also the first point of contact for the firm's clients, who will tell you she is positive, efficient and proficient. Tami says, "I enjoy looking out for clients, thinking ahead and making sure things are done right."
Tamara's professional career began at Wells Fargo Bank in 1995, where she received technical training in retirement accounts. She then worked with A.G. Edwards and W.M. Financial Services and Medical Professionals Financial Group before joining the McCoy Foat Wealth Management team. "I really enjoy the boutique, client-centered environment we've developed here," she says.
Tami earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from California State University in 1997 and a master's degree in business administration from Oregon State in 2000. She currently holds a General Securities license and an Oregon insurance license. Tami is active in her local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and her dragon boat team, "Paddles of Fury."
